Our first responders are integral for people in need to receive proper care and assistance. Their jobs come with a lot of risk on a normal day, and they continue to go above and beyond. Our Clanton team wanted to thank local first responders for their dedication to serve our local community. Our team provided 90+ first responders in Chilton County with lunch from local Bones Backstreet BBQ, along with cold towels and sunglasses!
They have continued to serve local frontline employees to show their appreciation: our Clanton team bought cookies from local Durbin Farms and surprised Winn Dixie’s 65 employees with them. Our communities depend heavily on Winn-Dixie and other grocery store employees for everyday necessities. We are thankful for their dedication to serving in the midst of something so uncertain.
Our Clanton team was also able to make and deliver over 40 masks to Chilton County DHR employees. Their doors have stayed open through the entirety of the pandemic because, even with so many unknowns, their community’s needs have not changed. They are at great risk every time they go into work, and having a mask provides protection for themselves and those they serve. They were appreciative of our team thinking of them and helping them during this time.
Guardian is still here to serve our members and communities. We are proud to support those who support everyone else. Frontline employees do so much for us every day we don't even realize, and we were happy to recognize them. Learn more about how we are continuing to connect with our local communities here.
