Guardian is excited to share about our tenth Interest Rebate and Bonus Dividend totaling more than $737,000 for 2021. This unique giveback is one of the many ways that Guardian looks to serve our members and community. We are appreciative of our members and their continued loyalty throughout the years. Including this year’s distribution, Guardian has given back $6.3 million in the form of an Interest Rebate and Bonus Dividend.
This giveback is made possible each year by the continued support and loyalty of our members and their financial relationships that they entrust to Guardian. Unlike many financial institutions, Guardian is member-owned and continuously works to find new and innovative ways to give back to members and show appreciation for their trust. This not only comes in the form of year-end rebates and dividends, but throughout the year with member focused products and services, minimal fees, more than 30 certified financial counselors and a heart to serve.
While there are many benefits and characteristics of Guardian that offer more value than traditional banks, the Interest Rebate and Bonus Dividend sets us apart from other Credit Unions. “Returning our profits to our members in this remarkable amount demonstrates how much we value our members and take every opportunity to show how much we appreciate their business and support,” said Heath Harrell, CEO. Guardian is encouraged by the successful year and looking forward to another year of financial resilience with our members and communities.
