A group that has been heavily affected during the COVID-19 pandemic is those in nursing facilities: both employees and residents. Living and working in such a close space has only increased risk for both parties. They have heightened regular precautions to ensure the safety of employees and residents. On a regular day, nursing facility employees do so much for their residents that often goes unnoticed. Our Troy team wanted to show their appreciation and support to a local nursing facility, Troy Health and Rehab, as well as thank them for their dedication and service.
Not only did they want to support the employees, but they also wanted to show their support to the residents. Our team in Troy provided 90+ lunches to the facility from local Hooks BBQ, as well as lollipop bouquets to make them smile. Local Bonnie Plant Farm donated flowers for almost 200 bouquets for the residents as well to brighten their day. This has been a difficult time for residents in nursing or assisted living facilities as they cannot see their families. Our team wanted to let them know they had an entire community of people thinking about them during this time.
Thank you, Troy Health and Rehab for all of your hard workâwe appreciate you and your dedication to those you serve!
